As part of the EcoSMEnergy project, a practical Voluntary Energy Efficiency Code of Conduct: Toolkit has been developed to help companies assess and improve their energy efficiency and energy management practices step by step.
The toolkit is designed for companies that want to gain a better overview of their energy use, identify possible areas for improvement and move towards a more systematic and cost-efficient approach to energy management. It does not require the company to already have an established energy management system. Instead, it helps companies start by mapping their current situation and move forward using clear maturity levels, guiding questions and practical action points.
The toolkit focuses on four key areas:
• developing energy policy and responsibilities;
• setting energy efficiency objectives;
• implementing action plans;
• monitoring results and ensuring continuous improvement.
We invite companies to explore the toolkit and share their feedback. We are especially interested in whether the material is clear, practical and useful from a company perspective, and whether any parts could benefit from further clarification.
The feedback will help us better understand how the toolkit meets companies’ needs and how it could be made even more practical for everyday use. As a small thank-you, respondents will receive a sweet gift – please leave your contact details at the end of the feedback form.
