ESTONIA

Estonian printing company Print Best found a new partner in Denmark with the support of Enterprise Europe Network and now prints books featuring children’s funny sayings and drawings for customers there. Print Best is an experienced exporter, with nearly 93% of its production sold across European markets

Print Best builds relationships across Europe

Print Best, one of the largest book printing companies in the Baltics, specialises in producing high-quality softcover and hardcover books for the educational, general and entertainment publishing sectors. Everything is produced at our facility in Estonia – from prepress and printing to binding and finishing. This gives us full control over quality, flexibility and deliveries.

Publishing is built on relationships

I manage Print Best’s Riga office, which was established to bring our knowledge and experience closer to customers both in the Baltics and further afield, and to provide them with comprehensive support from sales to print file preparation.

Over the years, I have learned that in the printing industry, people and relationships are just as important as technology and production. Technology has developed enormously across the industry, but ultimately strong partnerships are shaped not only by what we produce, but also by how we work together.

Today, we work with several of Europe’s best-known publishers, and nearly 93% of our production is exported across Europe. Our sales revenue has grown from €15 million in 2022 to €23 million in 2025. This reflects both the trust our customers place in us and the dedication of our team. In a highly competitive market, our goal is always to ensure timely deliveries without compromising on quality.

A strong focus on responsible production

Sustainability has become a central part of our operations. We follow clear ESG principles and regularly undergo independent external audits and certifications, including Sedex SMETA audits, FSC® Chain of Custody certification, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and ClimateCalc certification. In production, we use electricity generated entirely from renewable energy sources.

Over the next three years, we aim to improve production efficiency, expand our customer base and remain a reliable long-term partner for publishers. This year, we joined the UK-based Independent Publishers Guild (IPG), which has opened up valuable new opportunities for cooperation.

As a proud member of the Estonian Printing and Packaging Industry Association, Print Best contributes to the work of Brussels-based Intergraf. This gives us the opportunity to help shape the future of the European printing industry. We believe in the power of community: industry challenges are best addressed together, and meaningful contacts through IPG, Intergraf or Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) help move our industry forward.

A single conversation can open new doors

EEN is a great example of how the right platform can bring together companies that might otherwise never find each other. We were pleased to establish a new and valuable customer relationship in Denmark through EEN. It is a good reminder of how effectively a single conversation can open new doors.

We are sincerely grateful to EEN for the work the network does to help companies build meaningful international partnerships.

For Estonian companies considering expansion into foreign markets, my advice is simple: invest in long-term relationships rather than quick wins. This means knowing your product thoroughly, being present, responding quickly and consistently delivering on your promises.

Publishing is built on relationships – and the same applies to exporting.
“Strong partnerships are shaped not only by what we produce, but also by how we work together.”
