The EDF Partner Pool 2026 Thematic Pitching Sessions will take place on 28–30 April 2026, offering organisations interested in the European Defence Fund (EDF) an opportunity to present project ideas, connect with potential partners and prepare for upcoming EDF 2026 topics.
The sessions are designed for organisations looking for international cooperation opportunities in defence-related innovation projects. Participation is open to organisations eligible for EDF calls, including large companies, SMEs, research and technology organisations.
Participants can select the thematic sessions most relevant to them, apply to pitch their project idea or attend as participants through the b2match platform. As pitching slots are limited in each session, applications will be reviewed to ensure relevance and balanced participation.

Air Systems & Platforms
28 April, 11:30–13:00
Focused on next-generation air capabilities, including advanced aircraft platforms, propulsion systems, autonomous refuelling and aircraft survivability technologies.
Digital Warfare, Cyber & AI
29 April, 11:00–12:30
Addressing secure communications, AI-enabled decision-making, simulation and training environments, multi-domain cloud infrastructures and autonomous systems for situational awareness.
Land, Naval & Underwater Systems
29 April, 12:30–14:00
Dedicated to next-generation land and maritime platforms, including armoured systems, autonomous vessels, underwater technologies and seabed infrastructure protection.
Air & Missile Defence, Space & Mobility Enablers
30 April, 11:00–12:30
Covering interception systems, space-based navigation and communication, military mobility solutions, advanced sensing and electronic warfare capabilities.
Energy, Materials, CBRN & Soldier Protection
30 April, 12:30–14:00
Focusing on enabling technologies such as advanced energy systems, sustainable defence solutions, smart materials and textiles, and CBRN protection and decontamination capabilities.
