Apply by 8 July: World Class Manufacturing Training Programme in Japan takes place on 19–23 October

The EU-Japan Centre invites European professionals to apply for the World Class Manufacturing Training Programme, taking place from 19 to 23 October 2026 in Japan’s Chubu region, around Nagoya.

This five-day programme offers participants a unique opportunity to experience Japanese manufacturing excellence directly on the ground through factory visits, expert-led sessions, workshops and exchanges with professionals from across Europe.

The programme focuses on practical insights into how Lean Thinking, TQM and TPM are applied by Japanese manufacturers and suppliers. Participants will learn about continuous improvement, operational efficiency and the practical implementation of operational excellence principles in real manufacturing environments.

The programme is particularly suitable for professionals working in manufacturing, industrial operations, process improvement or related fields.

Participation offers an opportunity to:

The programme covers factory visits, lectures, workshops, local transport and lunches. Participants cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

A refundable deposit of €1,000 is required. A €1,500 contribution also applies for large companies.
