The European Commission has opened the Global Gateway Early-Stage Investment Mechanism Call for Proposals to support EU companies in the early stages of project conception and preparation, helping bring initiatives to an investment-ready stage.
In the Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (ENEST) region, the Call is open for investments in the Transport, Artificial Intelligence and Energy sectors in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Grant size: EUR 0.5–2 million per project
Deadline for submission: 16 March 2026
