Preparations for the 2027 Horizon Europe civil security and border management calls are already underway – and one of the key steps in international projects is finding the right partners.
📍 On 23–24 September, an international partnering event will take place in Brussels, bringing together companies, research organisations and other actors interested in participating in Horizon Europe civil security and border management projects or European Defence Fund defence innovation projects.
The event could be particularly useful for companies whose solutions or expertise relate to areas such as:
• digital travel documents and identity solutions
• sensors and detection technologies
• surveillance and situational awareness solutions
• artificial intelligence and data analytics
• cybersecurity
• drones and autonomous systems
• border management and critical infrastructure protection
• dual-use technologies and defence innovation
What will you gain by participating?
→ opportunities to find international partners for 2027 project consortia
→ a chance to present your technology, expertise or project idea in a short pitch
→ direct contacts with companies, research organisations and potential project partners from other EU countries
→ a better understanding of the types of solutions sought in upcoming Horizon Europe calls
→ opportunities to discuss concrete cooperation ideas before the calls open
More than 40 participants from different EU Member States have already registered, and places are limited. Participants from Estonia can also receive support in arranging additional meetings in Brussels if needed.
📅 23–24 September 2026
📍 Häme EU Office, Square de Meeûs 1, Brussels
