On 22 April 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 CEST, the webinar “Doing Business in the United States: How to Pitch for the Silicon Valley” will take place as part of the Embracing Global Markets webinar series.
The Embracing Global Markets series supports European small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in innovating and expanding into markets across Asia, Africa and the Americas. The webinars are hosted by experts from various European Commission services and the Enterprise Europe Network, the world’s largest business support network.
This session is particularly suitable for organisations that already have an established presence in Europe and are still at an early stage of exploring transatlantic expansion. It is especially relevant for companies that want to design a lean approach — a Minimum Viable Landing — before committing to full-scale market entry in the United States.
The webinar offers a practical and entrepreneurial perspective on doing business in the United States, drawing on hands-on experience from companies supported by EIT and 28DIGITAL Hub Silicon Valley.
Participants will gain:
- a clear understanding of the Silicon Valley mindset and global business culture
- practical guidance on creating a compelling pitch for the US market
- tips on adapting a sales deck to the expectations of American customers
- field-tested lessons on entering the US market, including common pitfalls and key success factors
The session will conclude with a live Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical insights from experts.
