What is THERESA PCP?
THERESA PCP (Pre-Commercial Procurement) is a European initiative seeking innovative on-site solutions to improve hospital wastewater treatment and reduce environmental and public health risks.
The challenge focuses in particular on:
- pharmaceutical residues
- pathogens
- contrast agents
- risks linked to the spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
The goal is to identify and develop technologies that can be implemented at hospital level (on-site) and are suitable for piloting and testing in real-life settings.
